The royal red Damask shawl is handmade of 100% pure silk. It is embellished with the woven "Boteh" (paisley) motif that has very mysterious origins and symbolism, some experts believe it is derived from the Persian culture and that it depicts the cypress tree, a symbol of life and eternity.
