Elissar (أليسار) Pouch

The Elissar pouch has been named after the courageous Queen Elissar of Carthage who escaped the tyranny of her brother Pygmalion, king of Tyre, and founded the Phoenician city-state of Carthage that became later a great center of the western Mediterranean in its high-noon. The pouch is part of our Amirat pouches collections. All our pouches are handcrafted by our artisans in Syria. The patterned Damask Silk fabric has been woven by hand on a Jacquard loom. The Elissar pouch can be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder.
